name to Voice Web Solutions
New name reflects commitment to real-world solutions.

July 22, 2002, SEATTLE - Voice Web Services, LLC today announced that it has changed its name to Voice Web Solutions, Inc. The name change reflects Voice Web Solutions’ strategic focus on developing and deploying industry leading text-to-speech playback control and VoiceXML development solutions for customers and partners around the world.

The company says the name change accurately communicates the nature of their business due to the unique solutions they provide for the Voice Web market. Voice Web Solutions’ breakthrough solution, VANGUARD Producer, provides users with voice access to documents such as manuals and e-mail attachments coupled with full audio playback command control. VoiceXML Studio, the company’s rapid application development product, is for system integrators and independent software vendors who want to build VoiceXML applications around the VANGUARD Producer Voice Document Format (VDF). As a technology enabler that is critical to several of the market segments within the voice services market, Voice Web Solutions sees a strong and growing demand for its products.

The Voice Web Services team will remain unchanged and will continue to pursue an aggressive business development strategy to deliver VANGUARD Producer and VoiceXML Studio to system integrators, developers and ISVs.
