Welcome
to Voice Web Studio 1.1 for Dreamweaver MX Release
Notes. The Voice
Web Studio development tool gives your Web site multimodal accessibility
technology. It allows you to add SALT capabilities
to your pages for deployment using the Microsoft
Internet Explorer browser with the speech add-in!

The

Setup
Installing
Voice Web Studio 1.1 for Dreamweaver MX.
Voice
Web Studio is a Macromedia Dreamweaver MX Extension
and requires the Macromedia Extension Manager
1.x to install.
Instructions:
- Download
the Installation file from Voice Web Solutions.
- Open
the Macromedia Extension Manager.
- Click
the Install Extension button located in the
upper right corner.
- Browse for the Voice Web Studio Installation
file.
- Click
Accept to agree to the license terms.
- Click
Ok when prompted of successful installation.
- Close the Extensions Manager.
- Start
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.
Using
Voice Web Studio with the Dreamweaver MX Interface
The
Dreamweaver MX Interface contains the Insert
Menu, Commands Menu and Property Inspectors,
which present the available objects and actions
that can be inserted into the Web page. For
more information about the Dreamweaver MX Interface,
visit www.dreamweaver.com.

Welcome
to the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech Add-in
Release Notes. The Speech Add-in gives your
Internet Explorer the power of speech technologies.
It allows you to run speech recognition and
text-to-speech applications in your browser!
The

The
Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech Add-in requires
one of these operating systems:

Requirements
The
following is also required to use the Speech
Add-in:
- Microsoft
Internet Explorer, Version 6.0 or later.
Uninstalling
the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech Add-in
on a system with Microsoft Office XP
Uninstalling
the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech Add-in
may leave the Microsoft Office XP speech functionality
in an unusable state.
Workaround:
1. Open Speech in Control Panel
2. Dismiss the error message by clicking OK
3. Click the Speech Recognition tab of the Speech
Control Panel
4. Change the Default Speech Recognition engine
to "Microsoft English ASR Version 5 Engine"
5. Click Apply to save the changes
After
installing the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech
Add-in, the Microsoft Speech Add-in Start Page
gives a script error.
Workaround:
From the
Control Panel, go to Add/Remove Programs and
select the Microsoft Speech Add-in component.
Uninstall this component and then re-install
and try the start page again.
Using
the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech Add-in
with the Language Bar
The
Language Bar is a tool that controls Speech,
Handwriting and IME input to the system. After
installing the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech
Add-in, it may manifest as a floating toolbar
with a Microphone button, Dictation and Voice
Command options. In this version of the Microsoft
Internet Explorer Speech Add-in, ensure that
the Microphone button is on the "off"
mode and no Voice Command or Dictation options
are visible.
Using
the Microsoft Internet Explorer Speech Add-in
with Terminal Services
In
this version, the Microsoft Internet Explorer
Speech Add-in does not function with Terminal
Services such as Terminal Server and Remote
Desktop. It is recommended that the Microsoft
Internet Explorer Speech Add-in not be used
in these scenarios.
